Without good community support, we wouldn’t be able to do what we do each day for these animals. Community support is a source of encouragement to all of us here at the shelter as we work to provide the best care possible for each of the furry residents while we try to find them a forever home.

Your support has helped our team at Griffin Pond Animal Shelter accomplish many positive achievements in 2014 including:

• 2,537 homeless animals were adopted into forever homes

• 283 cruelty cases have been investigated and processed in Lackawanna County by our Humane Police Officer
