This is a free event to benefit Griffin Pond Animal Shelter. Proudly sponsored by Toyota of Scranton. Celebrate our furry friends with over 30 vendors, two food trucks, VCA of Dunmore's low-cost Microchip and Rabies shot tent, and Pet CPR training provided by our Humane Officer, Lisa Devlin.

ABOUT PAWS IN THE PARK – Paws in the Park, is a family friendly event providing humane education and adoption awareness in a fun, relaxed atmosphere along with a variety of animal demonstrations, craft vendors, local merchants, face painting, balloon animals, photo booths, food trucks, and more! This event is proudly sponsored by Toyota of Scranton.

PAWS IN THE PARK is a FREE EVENT but DONATIONS ARE WELCOME! Donations received help fund the care of over 200 animals at the shelter on a daily basis as well as animal welfare programs.

NEW for 2018WE WILL FEATURE WOOLLY BEAR DJ Paws in the Park, in conjunction with volunteers from VCA DUNMORE will be hosting a LOW COST RABIES VACCINE AND MICROCHIP

CLINIC. COST: $10 RABIES VACCINE/ $20 MICROCHIP please note-all animals must be in a leash or in a carrier.

Don’t have a pet? No worries!

PAWS IN THE PARK IS NOT JUST FOR PET OWNERS – ALL ARE WELCOME! While all pets are welcome and encouraged to attend (we especially love to visit with our shelter alumni), attendees do not have to have a pet to attend.
